Overview

Job Title Delivery Principal Specialist

In this role, you’ll guide and support a medium-sized software team or multiple teams, helping to shape resource planning and development. You’ll collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve shared goals, contribute to strategic decisions, and ensure the delivery of solutions and services that meet customer needs. Your work will involve building effective partnerships, managing deliverables, and supporting customers in understanding and benefiting from our products and services.


Responsibilities

In this role you will:

Common Accountabilities

* Proficient in technical knowledge to ensure team performs at a high level.
* Responsible for the budget, team outcomes, and development of a medium-sized team or multiple teams of employees. Guides resource, budget, and policy planning, and sets clear development plans for team members.
* Has a mid- to long-term vision for activities and the business and helps shape the department’s strategy based on a broad understanding of the environment. Involved in important decision making.
* Works independently and collaboratively, following management directions and escalating issues when needed. Leads projects or contributes to broad cross-functional projects.

Specific Accountabilities

* Build and maintain effective relationships with both Information Technology (IT) and Business executives at the appropriate functional and operational levels to support strong partnerships with customers.
* Manage the ongoing pipeline and status of all solution deliverables according to customer commitments and expectations, including standard products, custom development, consulting, and other services.
* Coordinate delivery timelines internally, communicate updates to Project Managers, and follow up on delivery dates.
* Create, manage, and keep updated a dashboard for each customer to provide accurate updates on progress and challenges for all deliverables.
* Provide regular summaries for management attention, highlighting any challenges that need to be addressed.
* Contribute to the invoicing process for delivered product implementations and custom development.
* Serve as the main contact for resolving ongoing functional issues (e.g., Change Requests (CRs) and Work Orders in delivery) through the extended account team and meetings with line management.
* For small accounts, act as the functional entry point to provide knowledge and support on Amadeus products and solutions.
* Support customers in understanding the delivered solution or service, ensuring it aligns with the contract and helping them make the most of its capabilities.


Ideal candidate

* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Information or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
* Minimum of 3 years with Management skills and managing the cross functional team for software development projects
* Demonstrated experience in guiding and supporting teams, resource planning, and contributing to strategic decisions in a collaborative environment.
* Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including IT and business executives, and to build strong partnerships with customers.
* Experience managing multiple priorities and deliverables, with attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
