Currently, in the Robotics Department, we are seeking a ROS Programmer at our headquarters in Cornellà de Llobregat.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Develop C++ software within the ROS framework for navigation and environment interaction.
2. Evaluate and integrate third-party hardware/software systems to enhance robot capabilities.
3. Conduct validation and field tests to ensure the reliability and performance of navigation systems in various conditions, utilizing SLAM, motion planning, and perception techniques.
4. Maintain detailed documentation of design, development, and deployment processes.
5. Research new AMR, robotics, and mechatronic techniques.
6. Collaborate with business development and product teams, providing insights and support.
7. Stay informed on robotics advancements and engage in R&D to improve AMR capabilities.
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields with a focus on robotics or mechatronics.
* 5-7 years of experience in C++/ROS development.
* Strong understanding of robotics principles, including kinematics, dynamics, perception, and control.
* Experience deploying ROS in production environments.
* Hands-on robotics/mechatronics experience.
* Knowledge of SLAM, motion planning, and perception technologies.
* Fluent in Spanish and English.
