TBSCG’s engineering & Cloud practice is scaling fast, and we’re looking for an architect who’s ready to own solution-level decisions, not just implement them.
You’ll spearhead Commercetools and Fluent Commerce builds for global brands, surrounded by peers who live and breathe composable architectures.
Just a heads-up: the role operates on US time zones.
What you’ll own:
• Architect & deliver cloud-native services and integrations across Commercetools, Fluent Commerce and Cybersource, using TypeScript/Node and event-driven patterns.
• Design APIs & events that power omnichannel journeys.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with client architects and TBSCG product teams
• Champion engineering excellence—code quality, observability, automated tests and documentation.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and contribute to our internal best-practice playbooks.
Your toolkit
• Proven track record shaping Commercetools solutions in production.
• Hands-on with Fluent Commerce (or similar OMS) and payment gateways.
• Strong TypeScript/Node skills; comfortable in serverless runtimes (AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions) and event buses (SNS/SQS, Pub/Sub, EventBridge).
• Deep understanding of micro-services, API-first and headless paradigms.
• CI/CD (GitHub Actions or Bitbucket Pipelines) and IaC (Terraform/GitOps)
Extra credit
• GraphQL, Next.js/React front-ends.
• Headless CMS (Contentstack, Contentful) integrations.
• Kubernetes or container orchestration for bespoke workloads.
