As a Supplier Quality Engineer at Siemens Mobility, you ensure and continuously improve the quality of supplied products and services within the assigned area. You will implement SQM strategies, drive supplier performance, and manage quality agreements while collaborating with cross‑functional teams and international suppliers. You lead preventive quality activities, audits, and root‑cause investigations to enable sustainable improvements. Your work supports manufacturing excellence, risk reduction, and reliable, high‑quality solutions across projects. This is a global role with meaningful impact on mobility infrastructure.

• Implement commodity and SQM strategy including value creation, digitalization, and collaboration
• Drive supplier performance and continuous improvement; support development programs
• Create and maintain General Quality Agreements (GQAs) and QAAs; ensure contract coverage
• Apply preventive quality methods to minimize supply-chain risks
• Design and improve quality requirements, specs, and concepts from risk assessments
• Support standardized supplier qualification processes for readiness to do business
• Coordinate product/service qualifications and approvals with suppliers
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and review quality-related specs
• Execute complaints management; perform root-cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions
• Plan and conduct supplier audits; follow up audit actions
• Improve internal SQM processes through innovation, digitalization and LEAN
• Foster effective supplier collaboration, including virtual interactions
Responsabilidades
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering xpzdshu or similar
• 3–5 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, or industrial quality roles
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and FMEA
• Experience in structured problem-solving and 8D methodology
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• SAP experience is advantageous
• High level of English mandatory; German valued
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Analytical mindset, autonomy, and structured decision-making
• Willingness to travel 30–50%
