Roka is a contemporary Japanese robatayaki restaurant, celebrated for its dynamic open-grill cooking and vibrant atmosphere. Located in the Cap Vermell Grand Hotel, along the Balearic Island’s east coast, Roka Mallorca offers diners a seasonal, alfresco pop-up of lazy summer evenings, beautiful dishes, creative cocktails, and live DJs. Local ingredients are featured in Roka’s signature robatayaki cuisine to create a menu that can’t be experienced anywhere else.
Main DutiesYour key responsibilities will include:Maintain mise en place levels to ensure seamless service, with a focus on food quality, consistency, and presentationActively develop your skills to become proficient in all kitchen sections, under the guidance of senior chefsInspect incoming goods for quality and accuracy, ensuring proper storage and minimizing wasteConduct daily checks of storage areas and maintain high hygiene standards to meet Roka’s expectationsPrepare food products in line with recipes, ensuring precision and high standards while overseeing the work of junior team membersKeep workstations clean and organized, adhering to all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations
