As a Senior Sales Professional at RIB Software, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital transformation of the construction and engineering industries. RIB, a global leader in digitalization and cloud technologies for the built environment, empowers organizations to build smarter, faster, and more sustainably through innovative solutions like RIB Presto. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing named accounts, identifying customer requirements, delivering against sales targets, and strengthening long‑term customer relationships. Operating within an indirect sales model, you will collaborate closely with our partner network (including partner sales teams and resellers) to expand market reach and maximize client value. By combining your sales expertise with RIB's cutting‑edge technology portfolio, you will help customers achieve operational excellence and drive digital innovation across their projects.
Key responsibilities
* Drive growth within a defined portfolio of strategic accounts by identifying customer needs, shaping tailored solutions, and consistently achieving sales targets.
* Lead the complete sales cycle with key industry clients, including builders, engineering firms, EPCs, developers, installers, large contractors, and owners to accelerate the adoption of RIB Presto and other RIB solutions.
* Build strong, long-term relationships with executive and C‑level stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor throughout their digital transformation journey.
* Proactively generate new pipeline opportunities through C‑suite engagement, targeted outreach, and influential presentations, demos, and workshops.
* Conduct thorough account research, identify key decision-makers, and create engagement across multiple channels to drive interest and momentum.
* Clearly communicate the value, ROI, and competitive advantage of RIB's integrated lifecycle management solutions.
* Develop strategic Account Plans and multi‑year growth roadmaps aligned with customer objectives and market opportunities.
* Collaborate closely with resellers and channel partners to support their sales activities and maximize cross‑sell and upsell opportunities across target accounts.
Essential requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Computer Science, Construction, Finance, or related field.
* 5–10 years of B2B software sales experience with a strong hunter mindset and a proven track record in Key Account Management and new business development.
* Knowledge of the AEC industry; experience selling software or IT solutions to AEC/EPC clients is a plus.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and senior level selling skills.
* Proven track record closing major projects and consistently meeting sales targets.
* Team player with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
* Travel availability up to 60% to meet clients, partners, and internal teams as needed.
* Fluent in Spanish and English (C1 level).
Advantageous
* Knowledge in typical construction processes: planning, production, certifications, progress control, measurements, quality, ORP. Familiarity with BIM, CDE, ERP, construction, document management, cost control, project controls, IoT on-site, digital twin, etc. Know standards (ISO and regulatory frameworks.
