About the roleMulti-Wing is looking for a Production Manager to take full responsibility for production operations at our plant in La Roca, Catalona, Spain. This is a senior leadership role with a strong focus on production management, quality, operational performance, and financial results, working closely with Supply Chain, Quality, HR, Customer Service, and Finance.
You will play a key role in ensuring efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective production while driving continuous improvement, people development, and long-term operational stability in line with Multi-Wing's strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities
Production & Plant OperationsLead and manage daily production operations, ensuring delivery, quality, and efficiency targets are metEnsure stable production flow, optimal capacity utilization, and effective resource planningOversee production, quality, customer service, HR, and supply chain functions at plant levelDrive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Strategic & Operational LeadershipDevelop and execute production and plant strategies aligned with Multi-Wing's long-term goalsDefine, track, and improve operational KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivityInitiate and lead efficiency, automation, and process improvement initiatives
Quality & ComplianceEnsure full responsibility for product and system quality, including ISO 9001 complianceManage customer and supplier non-conformities and corrective actionsReview product-related contracts and quality documentationCooperate with external inspectors, auditors, and certification bodies
Financial & Cost ManagementTake ownership of production cost control and contribute to full plant P&L responsibilityPrepare and manage production budgets in collaboration with FinanceMonitor labor, material, maintenance, and overhead costsIdentify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety
People & Resource ManagementEnsure adequate staffing, competence development, and succession planningLead, coach, and develop production and quality teamsMake decisions related to hiring, performance evaluation, promotions, and developmentFoster a safe, inclusive, and performance-oriented work environment
Sustainability & Continuous ImprovementActively contribute to Multi-Wing's sustainability initiatives within productionIdentify and implement improvements related to energy efficiency, waste reduction, and responsible manufacturingPromote Lean, continuous improvement, and structured problem-solving methodologies
Your profile
Experience & backgroundProven experience in a Production Manager / Plant Manager / Operations Manager roleStrong background in mechanical or industrial manufacturingExperience with quality management systems (ISO 9001)Demonstrated responsibility for production performance, costs, and people leadershipExperience working in an international or multi-site environment is an advantage
Leadership & competenciesStrong people leader with hands-on, pragmatic management styleStructured, analytical, and results-orientedComfortable making decisions and taking ownershipStrong communication skills and ability to work across functionsContinuous improvement mindset with high attention to quality and detail
