How to contribute to our vision
As a Grid Engineering Manager, you will serve as the primary technical interface between the customer and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy concerning Grid topics for offshore projects during sales and execution phases.
1. Grid requirements analysis: Use your expertise to evaluate Siemens Gamesa’s technical compliance with Grid requirements.
2. Sales phase: Engage in technical sales discussions directly with customers and Transmission Authorities regarding technical requirements.
3. Execution phase: Manage project requirements, including technical documentation, digital models, and specialized support within the Grid Area.
4. Support Park Control specialists.
5. Participate in technical discussions with Siemens Gamesa Technology and Product Portfolio Management to identify solutions for current and future needs.
6. Review and conduct studies in domains such as Steady State, Dynamics, and Transient.
What you need to make a difference
We seek passionate individuals committed to renewable energy and leading change. The ideal candidate will possess:
* A Master’s degree in electrical power engineering, preferably with wind turbine or grid industry experience. A strong technical Bachelor's degree is also acceptable.
* Experience with simulation tools like PSCAD/EMTDC, Matlab/Simulink, PSS/E, DIgSILENT Power Factory, or similar.
* Self-driven, extroverted, analytical, and capable of managing complex tasks while maintaining an overview. Networking skills are a plus.
* Excellent English communication skills; knowledge of Chinese and French is advantageous.
* Motivation to work in a technical and customer-focused environment.
* Experience in studies related to steady state, dynamic, and transient domains.
* Remote working flexibility if required.
