Currently, we are looking for an R&D; Mechanical Engineer for Volpak site.
**About the Role**
Volpak is seeking to incorporate new skills and experience to the team, for this reason, we are increasing our number of R&D; Engineers. The role gives opportunity to work in different international projects covering various technologies and clients.
- Responsible for the development of designs in new products according with project requirements by ensuring the overall integration with Hardware and Software engineering.
- To design new products, mechanisms or improve of current in the company.
- Responsible of mechanical design of the project: 3D model, drawings, calculations, spare parts, maintenance, quality and product cost.
- Creation of 3D models, 3D assemblies, assembly drawings, detail part drawings and bills of material with Volpak standards.
- Develop standard products to enhance Volpak portfolio, prototypes to test new modules or new machines and non-standard products per special customer inquiries.
- Coordination of external technical work when necessary and according to the complexity of the assigned tasks
**What You Need to Be Successful**
- Mechanical Engineering Graduate.
- At least 5/6 years of experience in mechanical design, background in packaging sector, automated machinery would be an advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of 3D CAD software, Solidworks and CREO it would be an advantage.
- Advanced FEA, analytical and mathematical skills.
- Basic knowledge in automation (PLC, servo-motors,) & Pneumatics.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Familiar with basic functions of ERP.
- English language, advanced level. Others would be an advantage.
- Availability for sporadic worldwide trips.
- Proactiveness and leadership aptitudes are a must.
