We are seeking an experienced and driven Short-Term Rental Manager to lead, manage, and grow our holiday rentals department across the Marina Alta area. This position will be based out of our Jávea office and plays a key role in the expansion of our short-term rental portfolio.
This role is idóneo for a proactive professional with strong organisational skills, excellent customer service, and a commercial mindset.
Tasks
- Manage the day-to-day operation of a portfolio of short-term rental properties
- Take responsibility for the growth and development of the rentals department, including onboarding new properties
- Coordinate bookings across multiple platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, direct bookings, etc.)
- Handle guest communication before, during, and after stays
- Organise check-ins/check-outs and coordinate cleaning, laundry, and maintenance teams
- Ensure properties meet quality, safety, and legal compliance standards
- Optimise pricing, availability, and occupancy to maximise revenue
- Resolve guest and owner issues efficiently and professionally
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners
- Represent the rentals department internally and externally
Requirements
- Proven experience in short-term rentals, property management, or hospitality
- Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Good local knowledge of the Marina Alta area
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends when required
- Full driving licence and own vehicle preferred
- Languages: English and Spanish essential
- Dutch language skills are a strong advantage (additional languages also beneficial)
