We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a global team focused on the development of a scalable, secure, and high-performance data platform.
This position is ideal for a hands-on engineer with a strong background in cloud technologies, data engineering, and software development, who is comfortable taking full ownership of solutions from design to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and build scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
* Develop high-quality, production-ready software with end-to-end ownership
* Work with AWS services to build cloud-native solutions
* Contribute to the design and optimisation of Snowflake data warehouse solutions
* Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver business value
* Ensure code quality, testing, and best engineering practices
* Participate in architecture design and technical decision-making
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation across the platform
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative environment
REQUIREMENTS
!!️Essential Skills
* Strong experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or C#
* Proven experience with AWS (Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, ECS, EventBridge, etc.)
* Solid experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data platforms
* Experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouse technologies
* Hands-on experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure automation
* Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (or similar orchestration tools)
* Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures
* Strong understanding of data modelling, performance optimisation, and query tuning

* Experience with dbt, SnapLogic, Ataccama, or similar tools
* Exposure to streaming or real-time data architectures
* Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
* Experience working in enterprise-scale data platforms
* Exposure to multi-cloud environments (Azure or GCP)
