What your responsibilities will be :
* Design, implement and maintain databases solutions for on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
* Technical reference for the managed service and last technical escalation point.
* Advanced technical support for configuration and performance problems.
* Evaluate and select appropriate database technology for different requirements.
* Ensure security and data compliance by implementing best practices and security policies.
* Identify opportunities to improve scalability and availability of the databases.
* In conjunction with Service Manager, define and implement technical evolutive roadmap.
Who you are :
* Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Systems, or a related field.
* Experience in planning and executing IT strategies aligned with organizational goals.
* Knowledge of IT services, processes, and operating models.
* Deep knowledge and high DBA experience in Oracle and SQL Server databases.
* Experience in designing and implementing high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery solutions.
* Experience in designing and implementing replication solutions (Oracle Golden Gate).
* Used to work on cloud environments, specifically OCI and Azure, using Database as a service.
* Proven experience as DBA Senior or Architect.
* MySQL and PostgreSQL experience is a plus.
* Fluent English (speaking and writing).
* Strong troubleshooting and system diagnostic skills.
* Engaged and optimistic to face new challenges, focused on continuous improvement.
* Collaboration mindset among other areas and providers.
