Overview

Responsibilities
* Design engineering solutions for mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware based on established engineering principles in accordance with development technology practices and guidelines.
* Provide Tier 4 Engineering support, investigate hardware related field and factory issues and determine root cause(s).
* Use continuous improvement methodology to continuously improve performance, reliability and quality while reducing cost.
* Serve as HP technical interface for strategic suppliers.
* Work on cross-functional, multi-disciplinary project teams with other engineers and development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for highly-complex products.
* Collaborate and communicate with management, internal and outsourced development partners, and other key stakeholders regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
Education & Experience Recommended
* Bachelor’s (undergraduate) degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
* Typically has 3 to 5 years of engineering experience

* Fluency in English
The pay range for this role is $93,400 to $143,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
