MANDATORY SKILLS
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience with Java 8 and higher and/or Spark-Scala
- Good understanding of DevOps tools and practices (e.G., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Experience with AWS Cloud services, especially for data migrations.
- Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with container tools such as Rabbit
JOB:
Work across different tasks and adjust to changing priorities as needed.
- Build, test, and support applications using Java and/or Spark-Scala.
- Help deliver and maintain finance data solutions, especially those running on AWS Cloud.
- Support daily operations (BAU) and help solve technical issues.
- Report to a Software Engineering Manager and interact with the development team, product owner, and business stakeholders.
- Share knowledge, write clear documentation, and help promote teamwork and a positive team spirit.
- Take part in code reviews and technical discussions.
-Analyse current technical implementations and look for ways to improve systems and processes.
- Provide technical support and training to technical leads on technology systems and data management tools.
- Support and help guide less experienced team members towards team and departmental goals.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS
- Some Spanish language knowledge.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
