We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic
Data Scientist
to join our Team at
ING Hubs Spain
You will join ING's Global Threat Management (GTM) team, a central capability within the CISO domain that focuses on intelligence driven, proactive defence.
As a Data Scientist in Cyber Threat Management, you will:
Design and develop
advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI‐assisted models
to support cyber threat identification, prioritisation, and investigation.
Transform large‐scale security, threat intelligence, and telemetry data into
actionable insights
for threat hunters and decision‐makers.
Build and maintain
data‐driven threat models
that link adversary behaviour, vulnerabilities, and exposure.
Apply
automation and AI techniques
to accelerate threat analysis, pattern discovery, and hypothesis testing.

Apply data science, machine learning, or AI in a practical, outcome focused way.
Partner effectively with cyber security experts to deliver real operational impact.
Balance innovation with governance, quality, and explainability.
Communicate insights clearly and influence decisions through data.
A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in applied data science.
Relevant certifications in data science, machine learning, cloud platforms, or cyber security (e.G. AI/ML, cloud, or security analytics related) are an advantage.
English level - B2
