SAP HCM Consultant - Payroll Management

The SAP HCM Consultant will serve as a SAP Payroll Expert for the HR Service Delivery Payroll Team focused on German accounts. Responsibilities include executing payroll and time processes accurately and timely, evaluating payroll schemas, managing overtime, contributions, taxes, customer agreements, legal reporting, and customizing post-payroll processes. Configuration tasks involve SAP HCM & Payroll setup aligned with business needs, schemas, PCRs, wage types, and basic pay configurations.


Main Responsibilities:

* Design and deliver high-quality system configurations to meet business requirements.
* Perform configurations for HCM modules of HR, including Payroll (evaluation & schemas).
* Act as the primary contact for one or multiple accounts, coordinating tasks and providing technical support to team members.
* Lead SAP Payroll development, defect identification, and resolution.
* Analyze payroll schemas for root causes of discrepancies and resolve complex issues related to overtime, social security, legal reporting, allowances, sickness, taxes, and payslips, specifically for German payroll.
* Participate in SAP HR projects as part of a cross-functional team to support HR service delivery.
* Ensure data integrity for time and attendance records.
* Troubleshoot and resolve SAP HCM & Payroll issues, updating tickets promptly.


Key Experience and Skills:

* Extensive SAP HCM & Payroll configuration experience, especially with German Payroll schemas, PCRs, wages, and basic pay.
* Experience in ABAP is highly valued.
* Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and reporting tools.
* Strong strategic, analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities.
* Valid EU work permit required; fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
