The Payroll Specialist is responsible for delivering accurate, compliant, and timely payroll services for employees in Spain through a centralized Shared Services model. The role ensures payroll operations run efficiently while providing a high-quality employee experience and maintaining compliance with Spanish employment, tax, social security, and payroll regulations. The role acts as a key operational partner to HR, Finance, external payroll providers, and employees, supporting payroll execution, continuous improvement, controls, and process standardization across the organization.
EDUCATION
University Degree. HR Strategic Program will be a plus.
Strong knowledge of Spanish payroll legislation, IRPF, social security, and employment administration practices, essential.
Knowledge of SAP, Workday, ADP, or similar payroll systems, desirable. LANGUAGES
Fluent Spanish and good English communication skills.
PROFESIONAL EXPERIENCE
Essential
Previous experience in payroll administration or payroll shared services in
Spain.
Experience working with collective agreements (Convenios Colectivos).
