Position Overview
The Project Manager will lead and execute projects involving delivery of hardware, software and related services into public transport applications. The person will oversee project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, timelines, and budget. This role requires proactive customer management, effective coordination with internal teams, and the identification of opportunities for follow-on business through an understanding of customer needs and potential project variations.
Main Duties / ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership
* Take full ownership of the entire project lifecycle, from planning to delivery, ensuring high-quality results—on time and within budget.
* Define and align project goals with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility and clarity of scope.
* Manage cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, production, sales) and third-party partners to execute projects seamlessly.
* Monitor progress, anticipate risks, and adjust proactively using the latest project management tools and practices.
* Oversee financial aspects, including budgets, cash flow, and reporting, maintaining transparency and accountability.
* Ensure all projects meet our high safety and quality standards.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
* Act as the primary point of contact for customers—building trust through proactive communication and reliable follow-through.
* Understand evolving client needs, manage expectations, and resolve issues with clarity and professionalism.
* Drive scope, timeline, and budget adjustments using formal change request procedures.
* Foster long-term partnerships and identify new opportunities for collaboration and value creation.
Innovation & Growth
* Collaborate with pre-sales, sales, and engineering teams to co-design innovative, customer-focused solutions.
* Identify potential product and service improvements that align with emerging market needs.
* Support pre-sales and proposal stages, offering technical and strategic insight to shape successful project delivery.
Team Empowerment & Culture
* Mentor and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices in line with our open, collaborative culture.

Work Experience
Buscamos ingenieros e ingenieras capaces de definir el mundo, encontrar nuevos retos y superar objetivos. Personas que piensen de forma diferente para redefinir lo que es posible.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
* Project Management certification is a strong asset (PMP, AIPM, or similar).
* Full professional fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required.
Experience
* 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience as a Project Manager or Lead Project Engineer in a technology‑driven environment (preferably in electronics, software, or transport systems).
* Background in systems engineering within software or electronics is highly valued.
* Proven track record in managing complex, multi‑stakeholder technical projects from start to finish.
Skills And Attributes
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.G. PMP).
* Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project or similar platforms.
* Skilled in budget control, financial tracking, and resource planning.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills—both client‑facing and internal.
* Natural leader with a hands‑on, proactive attitude and a strong sense of accountability.
* Detail‑oriented, with a focus on precision, documentation, and quality.
* Strong team spirit with the ability to align efforts across departments and cultures.
* Curious, adaptable, and driven by a desire for continuous learning and innovation.
