The primary goal of this role is to influence customers to develop the contact lens category by acquiring new users. This involves shifting the mindset of eye care professionals (ECPs) and owners to be more proactive in offering contact lenses.
To achieve this, you'll need to:
* Analyze businesses to identify opportunities.
* Influence customers to adopt a more proactive approach to contact lenses.
* Understand the unique needs and characteristics of various channels, including independent stores, buying groups, and chains.
* Apply basic tools to develop the contact lens category, such as customer journey mapping, point-of-sale optimization, and database management.
* Execute Journey-Based Planning (JBP) strategies within your designated areas.
* Broaden the Misight category by educating ECPs on how to improve children's lives with contact lenses.
* Coverage planning: follow sales processes and segment customers according to their needs.
* Build strong relationships with customers, including key roles in their businesses.
* Negotiate price increases when necessary.
* Add value to your team by being a collaborative member.
* Familiarize yourself with CooperVision programs and utilize them effectively.
* Complete administrative tasks and reporting duties.
* Possess a solid understanding of products, including CooperVision and competitors.
* Attend industry events and training sessions as required.
