with extensive experience in
metallurgical processes, ideally in wire drawing plants or non-ferrous metal transformation, to lead operations with a strategic, operational, and continuous improvement focus.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate all production areas of the wire drawing plant.
Ensure achievement of production, quality, safety, and environmental objectives.
Optimize processes and resources to maximize operational efficiency.
Coordinate with logistics, maintenance, quality, and industrial safety departments.
Develop and implement continuous improvement plans (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, etc.).
Manage the department budget and ensure control of operational costs.
Motivate, train, and lead multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
University degree in Metallurgical, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial environments, with at least 5 years in wire drawing plants, foundries, or high-temperature metal forming processes.
Deep knowledge of
copper processing, drawing, annealing, and stretching .
Familiarity with continuous improvement tools and project management methodologies is a plus.
Technical English – essential.
Fluent Spanish – essential.
