Role Description
We are looking for a Legal & Digital Compliance Specialist to support our Chief Compliance Officer and Technology teams in regulatory matters related to data protection, cybersecurity, digital operational resilience (DORA), and fintech regulation.
This role is adecuado for a lawyer with strong interest in technology and financial regulation, capable of bridging legal and technical teams. You will contribute to the implementation of regulatory frameworks governing crypto-assets, financial technology, and digital infrastructure with our cybersecurity team.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of law, fintech, and cybersecurity regulation, gaining hands-on experience with MiCA, DORA, ICT governance, and digital risk management in a fast-growing crypto company.
What you’ll be doing
- Support the drafting, review, and implementation of legal and compliance documentation related to Data Protection, ICT governance, and operational resilience.
- Assist in regulatory projects related to MiCA authorization, DORA implementation, and other EU digital finance regulations.
- Conduct legal and regulatory analysis of fintech and cybersecurity frameworks, including MiCA, DORA, PSD2, and GDPR.
- Support the preparation of internal policies, procedures, and governance documentation related to Data Protection and ICT risk management.
- Assist in communications and documentation prepared for regulators, auditors, and external advisors.
- Contribute to the preparation of internal committee materials, board reports, and compliance updates related to digital risk and regulatory developments.
- Help coordinate between legal, compliance, product, and engineering teams to ensure regulatory requirements on Data Protection and Operational Resilience are correctly implemented.
- Monitor regulatory developments affecting crypto-asset service providers, fintech companies, and digital financial infrastructure in the EU.
Who you are & what you’ll need
- Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent) is required.
- Proven expertise in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance: 1–4 years of experience in financial regulation, fintech, digital compliance, or cybersecurity law (internships count).
- Strong Analytical Skills for identifying risks and assessing regulatory impacts.
- Knowledge in Data Protection and GDPR.
- Interest in financial regulation, crypto-assets, and digital operational resilience.
- Familiarity with MiCA, DORA, PSD2, or other EU digital finance frameworks is a strong plus.
- Understanding of ICT risk, cybersecurity governance, or digital operational resilience concepts is highly valued.
- Excellent research, legal drafting, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical documentation.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Proactive, intellectually curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced fintech environment.
