About the job
Based at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, within the Marketing & Commerce department, the Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling designs that align with the hotel’s brand identity and marketing strategies. This role involves developing high-quality graphic materials for digital and print, including advertisements, brochures, social media content, and promotional materials. The Graphic Designer works closely with the marketing and communications team to ensure designs reflect the hotel’s luxury image and resonate with target audiences. They also collaborate with various departments to deliver design solutions that support the hotel's goals, enhance brand visibility, and contribute to overall marketing efforts.
The key responsibilities include:
* Design Creation : Develop visual presentations for meetings and proposals. Create graphic designs for digital, print, social media, and promotional materials, ensuring alignment with brand standards. Edit photos for marketing campaigns.
* Brand Consistency : Maintain consistency with the hotel’s luxury brand image across all platforms and materials.
* Collaboration : Work with marketing, communications, and other teams to understand needs and produce aligned materials.
* Content Creation : Produce images, infographics, banners, brochures, and other visual content to enhance marketing efforts.
* Campaign Support : Create assets for advertising campaigns, events, and digital marketing, ensuring timely delivery.
* Web & Social Media : Design engaging graphics for the website and social media to boost engagement and awareness.
* Design Revisions : Update and revise existing materials based on feedback.
* Creative Direction : Offer creative input to improve visual appeal and effectiveness.
* File Management : Organize and maintain design files for future use.
* Trend Awareness : Stay updated with industry trends and software advancements to enhance design quality.
We expect from you:
Experience and Education
* Graduate qualification in Visual Communication, Marketing, or related field.
* Experience in a creative design environment and project management.
* Qualifications in graphic design or similar.
Technical Skills
* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and other tools.
* Experience maintaining brand consistency across channels.
* Understanding of digital channels, social media, and programmatic display.
* Knowledge of artwork production, tools, and trends.
* Strong communication skills for analyzing briefs and proposing solutions.
* Ability to manage multiple projects with high quality and deadlines.
* Experience with Apple Mac and PC.
* Video editing skills using Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Knowledge of the tourism industry and Mallorca/Spain is a plus.
