IoT Commissioning EngineerLocation & commitmentsPossibility to work remotelyExtensive international travel (70%) within EuropeObjective & MissionThe key role of the Digital Service Representative is to ensure customer sites are well connected to the cloud and that valid asset data flow from the customer’s site to the Eco-structure Asset Advisor (EAA) platform.This position is accountable forUpgrading the customer critical assets with smart sensors and communication featuresConfigure gateway, and connect critical assets to the cloudIntegration (preparation, connectivity, validation, and cybersecurity compliance)Collecting all data requested for Digital platform provisioning (done by Connected Services Hub (CSH))Supporting the preparation and execution phases of complex solutionsOn-site intervention following CSH insights from condition-based monitoring, customer requestsMain responsibilitiesReview customer electrical distribution network (HV, LV…) to identify critical assets to be upgraded, compile all installation info (equipment and IT) and collect cybersecurity requirementsPreparation of work and staging: sensor pairing, custom model, firmware upgrade, gateway association to tenant, off-site testing; and validation of Bill of Materials including modem & SIM cardInstallation of new sensors and/or protection relays on siteConfigure communications and connect digital devices (relays, sensors, SMD, …) to gatewayETP connection: connect system to the Internet – Schneider cloud platform (northbound)Commission the IT/IoT portion of the digital services: coordination with other SE Field Services Engineers/Eco-Experts / Subcontractors / Customer’s staffEnd to End testing and validation to ensure successful connectionTroubleshoot End to End connectivity including ETP using procedure and ticketing toolCompile project data for provisioning by CSH into Eco-Struxure Asset Advisor (EAA) Platform; project data should be complete to prevent delays in CSH provisioningValidate the communication architecture for devices and gateways to retrieve and publish data for the assets up to the EAA PlatformBe the technical warrant of the services capabilities in front of the customerSupport customer projects on all connectivity matters including cyber security and analytics (including 3rd party solutions and 3rd party sensors)#LI-KS4RequirementsExternal client focused mindset with strong listening capabilityAccountable, self-motivated and proactiveAbility to adapt and perform in a fast moving and often-changing environmentStrong health & safety mindset in total respect of safety guidelinesCollaborative attitude with internal entities (Planning, Inside Sales, Technical Support …)Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsUse all digital tools designed for SE Service RepresentativeWillingness to travel internationally for 70% of the working timeEducation & Experience2+ years university degree or equivalent experience with at least 1 year of related experienceAdvanced in Automation, IT solutions and networks (TCP/IP, Modbus, IEC61850…), digital systems integration, software settingKnowledge of LV and MV products (knowing Schneider Electric products is advantage)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillMandatory: fluent communication in English language (B2+ level min)Flexibility & Reliability, Focus on technical details & Customer focus, Team player, Leadership skillsGood Software tools literacy: MS Office, Acrobat, AutoCADInformation about the selection processIf you are interested in this position, please send us your CV in English language.
