The Role
We are hiring a Senior Carbon Trader specialized in EU Emissions Allowances (EUAs).
This is a revenue‑generating trading seat for an experienced market professional.
We are seeking a trader with an established and active EUA network capable of sourcing, structuring and closing transactions within European compliance markets.
If EUAs are not a core instrument in your current trading activity, this role is unlikely to be the right fit.
Key Responsibilities
Generate consistent and disciplined trading P&L
Trade and structure EUA transactions (spot and forward/multi‑year contracts)
Leverage and expand an existing network of counterparties
Manage positions within defined risk parameters
Translate EU ETS regulatory and supply‑demand dynamics into actionable trading strategies
Execute across ICE Endex, EEX and OTC markets
Ensure adherence to MAR, MiFID II and internal governance standards
Required Profile
5+ years of experience trading carbon markets, with EUAs as a primary instrument
Demonstrated, consistent P&L track record within EU ETS
Strong and active network of EUA market participants
Experience in exchange and OTC execution
Deep understanding of European climate policy and carbon market structure
Strong risk management discipline

Confidence presenting market views to senior stakeholders
