Overview
Social Media Supervisor, Studio Marketing for Disney+. The role focuses on designing and executing the Disney+ social media strategy across Spain, collaborating with EMEA social leads, and managing local tone of voice and content pillars. The position is based four days a week in Madrid, with one day from home.
Disney+ is The Walt Disney Company’s Direct to Consumer video entertainment service, featuring long form and short form content across six brands and accessible on multiple platforms.
What will you do
- Plan & implement the local social media strategy.
- Manage content calendars, scheduling and publishing of content alongside the social media agency.
- Grow and nurture Disney's presence in Spain’s social conversation.
- Use social listening and data to inform and pivot social strategy; monitor conversations to inform content and tone of voice.
- Collaborate with the marketing, PR, local originals, regional teams and other stakeholders to ensure social is a key driver of brand communication.
- Coordinate with the paid social lead and brand managers to ensure paid social efforts are applied efficiently.
What will you bring
- Exceptional communication skills in Spanish and English; ability to adapt tone to various Disney audiences.
- Proven experience in agency management, including briefing, deliverables oversight, budget control, and performance evaluation.
- Analytical skills with comfort working with data and attention to detail.
- Team-oriented problem solving and the ability to work independently in diverse settings.
- Deep understanding of the influencer ecosystem, talent identification, performance measurement, and data-driven insights.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and drive collaboration across teams.
- Proactive trend identification and opportunity recognition to drive value; openness to experimentation and learning.
- Passion for social media trends, entertainment, and Disney culture.
- Professional experience with social media brand channels in SVOD/TV/Film.
