As we expand our footprint to meet demand in Europe, we are looking for an experienced Sales / Business Development leader, who loves the challenge of 'hunting' and building a business from scratch.
The Opportunity
The Head of Sales / Business Development will spearhead our expansion into European markets including Spain, Portugal, Italy and Switzerland by establishing B2B partnerships with Automotive dealerships, Bike retailers and luxury hotels.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and implement the business development strategy across hotel, Mercedes automotive dealerships, and bike retail networks throughout Europe.
* For luxury hotels, to introduce Mercedes eBikes as part of their guest services, mobility solutions, or product offerings.
* Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers across the hospitality, automotive, and bike retail sectors, utilizing your existing network to drive new opportunities.
* Present tailored business solutions that highlight the unique value of Mercedes eBikes, whether as a premium guest experience in hotels, an eco-friendly mobility option for automotive dealerships, or an innovative product line for bike retailers.
* Develop customized proposals and negotiate agreements that secure long-term partnerships across the three target industries, ensuring the seamless integration of Mercedes eBikes into their offerings.
* Work closely with marketing teams to craft targeted campaigns and sales materials for hotels, car dealerships, and bike stores, emphasizing the luxury, sustainability, and innovation that Mercedes eBikes provide.
* Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences in the hospitality, automotive, and bike retail sectors, adapting strategies to align with market demands.
* Represent n+ at key industry events, trade shows, and conferences across all three sectors, increasing brand visibility and generating new business leads.
Qualifications:
* German and English language skills
* 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the hospitality or luxury goods sector.
* Established network of contacts within at least one of: Automotive / dealerships, Bike retail industry, large hotel chains
* Demonstrated experience in securing B2B partnerships, ideally with history in Automotive, Bike retail and/or Hotel.
* Passion for sustainability, urban mobility, and high end/premium products.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to travel across Europe as required for client meetings and events.
