We are seeking a Search Relevance Engineer to join our international E-commerce Technology team. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about search technologies, data processing, and user experience optimization. You will play a key role in enhancing the performance and relevance of our search engine across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
* Configure and fine-tune search relevance parameters using Apache Solr .
* Define and maintain ETL data processing rules to support search functionality.
* Collaborate with Product Owners, data analysts, and search managers across multiple countries to translate business needs into technical solutions.
* Partner with data scientists, backend developers, and product managers to improve search algorithms, filters, and product mappings.
* Participate in technical discovery sessions and architecture discussions .
* Produce and maintain technical and functional documentation, and support knowledge transfer across international teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
* Strong interest in search engine technology, particularly Apache Solr .
* Eagerness to learn or prior experience with search algorithms, ETL workflows, and relevance metrics (e.g., precision, recall, nDCG).
* Background in technical support (Level 1 or 2) is a plus.
* High technical aptitude and ability to manage complex tasks independently.
* Strong communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and a proactive, innovative approach.
