What To Expect

The role of the Inside Sales team is to educate, inspire and skillfully guide Tesla’s potential customers through the vehicle purchase and configuration process. Inside Sales Advisors have the incredible opportunity to advise discerning Tesla clients from all over the market while honing their abilities in lead qualification and adaptively targeting specific talking points for Tesla vehicles dependent on the audience. We expect members of this team to become experts in our products and the direct-from-manufacturer sales model that has made Tesla an innovator in the automotive industry, while also developing the acumen needed to excel as a field sales representative. The Inside Sales team is in the true epicenter of Tesla activity. As a team, we all work together to help Tesla vehicles affect & enrich more lives around the world every day.

The Inside Sales Supervisor is responsible for their team executing these activities at the highest possible level, while innovating and improving processes to make them more efficient for both our advisors and customers, all of which in a bid to help us accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

What You’ll Do

- Lead, coach and develop a highly engaged team
- Partner with local Store Supervisors, Virtual Managers and other key stakeholders to establish targets for quality, speed and volume of customer interactions
- Communicate and implement all relevant changes that impact the team regarding policy, process and procedure
- Manage ongoing performance and provide effective feedback on qualification and sales conversations
- Create and maintain a fun and inclusive culture that rewards hard work and innovation
- Provide feedback and recommendations on communication efforts based on direct experiences with potential clients
- Participate in company meetings and customer events
- Coordinate appropriate coverage for our areas of responsibilities

What You’ll Bring

- Be a team player. We want teammates with a proactive, never-fail attitude in the face of adversity, ambiguous situations, and a lack of managerial oversight. You should have the ability to work and motivate yourself independently while also working with teammates for the greater good of the team and company
- Self-motivated & passionate with ability to work effectively in a highly automated & collaborative sales environment
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with an ability to take initiative and be proactive. Through an analytical mindset, approach and drive process changes to increase efficiency and quality
- Strong relationship management skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts
- Proven track record to meet or exceed targets and goals
- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
- Proficient with standard productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office, internet navigation, CRM)
- Have an analytical approach and desire to drive process change to increase efficiency and quality
- Fluent in Spanish & English
- Valid Driver’s License
