What you will be doing
* Own the full lifecycle of software and infrastructure releases from development through production.
* Coordinate release schedules with cross-functional teams including Development, Quality, Product, and Support.
* Lead change control processes, governance reviews, and post-release reporting.
* Manage and continuously improve the release pipeline using automation and DevOps best practices.
* Serve as Incident Commander for release events, leading real-time resolution and communications.
* Part of Support for all production applications with occasional deployment on off-hours.
* Oversee root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are completed post-incident.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* 5+ years in Release Management, Incident Management, or a similar IT Ops role.
* Experience managing releases in AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments.
* Familiarity with CI/CD, ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira), and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
* Strong communicator with a knack for executive updates and cross-team coordination.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment — with calm under pressure.
