Responsibilities
- Assist the Medical Director in patient management.
- Select the appropriate dialysis method, suitable devices, and personalize treatment based on the patient's condition.
- Select therapy to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Handle all medical situations and issues presented or encountered while performing duties and, when necessary, seek consultations or arrange patient transfers to other healthcare facilities.
- Collaborate with nurses during patient dialysis sessions, including initiation and termination of treatment.
- Conduct critical reviews of all reports or healthcare activities in the facility, ensuring quality and compliance with applicable guidelines and standards.
- Perform necessary medical assessments for patient admissions and complete health-related formalities.
- Prepare, maintain, and update medical records and records specific to each patient under care.
Requirements
- Medical degree
- Professional registration
- Knowledge of the Italian language (English language is a plus)
