Key Duties
* Conduct research and development in trustworthy AI and robust benchmarking.
* Contribute to the execution of funded AI research projects.
* Design, implement, and evaluate methods to improve model transparency, safety, and robustness.
* Contribute to scientific publications and disseminate results through papers and presentations.
Requirements
* Education: Degree in STEM.
* Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience:
o 0‑1 year experience in an AI research institution.
o 0‑1 year experience with HPC and supercomputing infrastructure.
o 0‑1 year experience in LLM code generation benchmarking.
* Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience:
o Experience with Python, PyTorch and vLLM.
o Experience with Docker and Git.
o Participation on at least one scientific paper.
* Competences:
o Spanish and English proficiency.
o Notions of Catalan will be valued.
Conditions
* The position is located at BSC within the Computer Sciences Department.
* Full‑time contract (35 h/week) with a highly stimulating environment, flexible working hours, extensive training, restaurant tickets, private health insurance, and support for relocation.
* Open‑ended contract due to technical and scientific activities linked to the project and budget duration.
* Holidays: 22 days of holidays + 6 personal days + 24th and 31st of December as per collective agreement.
