An opportunity for an **management of events and VIP visits **within **Airbus Getafe (Madrid).**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Engage with Senior Management and their offices for all hospitality and VIP visits
- Act as a project manager for Protocol and Events activities in Spain, with particular focus on Getafe and Illescas.
- Plan and deliver on time and on quality Protocol and Events activities
- Work closely with Spain Communications team to ensure consistent communication, visibility and best practice sharing
- Acts and behaves by respecting Ethics and Compliance rules
- Organize External / Internal VIP visits
- Plan, implement, deliver and evaluate events on request of and in harmonization with the Communications processes to the highest professional standards ensuring engagement of appropriate stakeholders throughout the planning and delivery process.
- Collect brief and all necessary information to ascertain precise visits or events requirements
- Be responsible for the event or visit
- Decide on treatment for each visitor and take necessary actions or delegate tasks to outside suppliers
- Ensure that appropriate protocol is followed during a visit or event, according to the level of visitors and hosts
- Coordinate all subcontractors during the event
- Ensure Health and Safety procedures are respected
- Manage the budget
- Organize follow-up sessions for lessons learnt and recommendations for the next editions

- Educated in a Protocol / Communication degree or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience working in Events & Protocol
- Knowledge in Branding, Social Media, Protocols & Hospitality, Ethics & Compliance, of Project management will be a plus.
- High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a network mode
- Advanced level in English and Spanish.
- German or French would be an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Team spirit and Team work
