**Region South Europe is one of the 9 regions within the H&M; Group and will have its headquarters in Barcelona, Spain where this position will be based. The Region runs across 5 markets: France, Belgium / Luxembourg, Spain / Portugal, Italy, Turkey.**

**Job Description**: 
As **Business Controller M/F/X in logistics,** you will work closely with the Transport Operations Manager and act as a business partner to the Regional Controlling team to achieve business results, optimize performance and ensure compliance within transport. 
- ** Act as business partner to Regional Controller & Transport Manager **with sound financial & quantitative operations analysis & direction 
- ** Responsible for all financial & operational data related to transport controlling, **including follow up on budget, projects, KPIs in terms of regional & integral expectations as well as **quality assurance**: 
- ** Support in identifying & driving areas of improvement **with regards to performance in transport by **performing relevant analysis & reports as well as define potential action plan**: 
- ** Monitor profitability targets as well as performance **regarding cost, service and sustainability in transport processes 
- ** Define framework and report structure **to follow up business results on daily/weekly/monthly basis, in alignment with overall global guidelines and reporting needs of regional logistics management, transport management, as well as global controlling and operations teams 
- ** Collect and analyze all financial aspects **in budget and tenders' processes 
- ** Prepare decision material for transport contract signature**: 
- ** Participate in selected projects and performs ad-hoc analysis**: 
- ** Drive and promote synergies **between retail and online flows by identifying efficiency gains in terms of cost, sustainability impact and way of working

**Besides your personality we see that you have**: 
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Business/Financial controlling 
- ** Deep knowledge of controlling, logistics, transport, related software and regional specifics**, as well as **operational capabilities**: 
- ** Good understanding of cross-functional departments and collaboration **within Regions 
- Solid skills in **project management, prioritization and business case**: 
- ** Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset**: 
- ** Strong communication & coordination skills**:

- ** Full professional proficiency** (fluent spoken and written) in **English**. Another language from the region (Spanish, Italian, French) will be considered as a plus. 
Additional Information 
This is a full-time position which can be based within Region South Europe, ideally in Barcelona (ES) or Ghlin (BE), and requires frequent travel in this Region. This function is reporting directly to the Transport Operations Manager.
