Located at our offices in Spain, the
Structural Engineer
is responsible for the design, analysis, and validation of metal, concrete, or other structural materials, ensuring compliance with safety standards, functionality, structural efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This role collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams in the planning, development, and execution of projects.
Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis and design of elements according to applicable codes and standards (e.G., Eurocode, AISC, CFE, etc.)Produce structural drawings and technical specifications for manufacturing or construction.Coordinate with design, architecture, manufacturing, and assembly teams.Select materials and verify the structural feasibility of technical proposals.Review and validate structural calculations and technical documentation.Provide technical support during manufacturing, construction, and installation phases.Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement of structural solutions and processes.Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and both local and international codes.Apply and verify compliance with specific standards for water parks, such as DIN EN 1069 (Parts 1 and 2), particularly in the structural design and analysis of water slides.Coordinate with certification bodies (e.G., TÜV) to ensure technical and documentation compliance for projects targeting the German market.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in structural design and analysis (metal or concrete structures, as applicable).Advanced knowledge of structural analysis software (e.G., Dlubal).Proficient in SolidWorks for modeling and design.Proficient in CAD design software (AutoCAD preferred).Knowledge of international structural codes and standards.Experience or knowledge of European safety standards for water parks (DIN EN 1069, DIN 13451) is a plus.Strong teamwork and communication skills across project areas.Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (spoken and written);
German is a plus for international projects
