We are looking for an experienced Conference Director to join the opening team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Director of Sales, you will support the Director of Sales in leading and managing all conference operations at our hotel. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all conferences and events hosted at SLS Barcelona.Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for conference and event services that align with the hotel's business goals and enhance its reputation.Prepare and manage budgets for conferences and events, ensuring financial targets are achieved and resources are utilized efficiently.Collaborate to develop and execute promotional strategies to attract clients and maximize event bookings.Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success, gather client feedback, and identify areas for improvement.Maintain high standards of service quality and guest satisfaction, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.Lead and manage a team of conference executives and support staff, delegating tasks and responsibilities as needed to ensure smooth execution of events, from initial planning to final invoicing.Qualifications:
Degree in Hotel Management or related studies.At least 3 years of experience in hospitality, luxury events, or Sales & Marketing departments.Proficient in computer systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and pay close attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.Personal Attributes:
