The Purchasing department has a vacancy in its team for the following position:
Direct Buyer
The main activities and responsibilities
* Manage procurement of assigned raw materials, spare parts, packaging and services for Santa Perpetua Production Site, coordinate with internal clients, provide market information, report performance versus market prices, analysis of alternatives and conduct contracting & negotiation with suppliers
* Improve price, quality and delivery times conditions, ensuring achievement of annual targets.
* Audit and ongoing evaluation of suppliers.
* Organize supplier portfolio and reduce transactional workload through appropriate solutions.
* Assure double source of supply.
* Negotiation of Supply Contracts with selected suppliers.
* Responsible Key Point in the Organization for any topic related to assigned. commodities, spare parts, packaging and services.
* Establish a robust supply for each assigned commodity, spare parts, packaging and services including supplier location and diversification.
* Execute Category Plans for each category assigned.
* Identify and Capture Market opportunities.
* Engage with Suppliers and Markets, and deliver new insights, innovations and opportunities to Centrient.
* Recognize supply risks and prepare contingency plans.
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain Management / Finance
* Knowledge of SAP MM, SAP Ariba & Microsoft Office
* Fluency in spoken and written English.
* 5 years of experience in a broad supply management and negotiation.
