Operate AWS platform components supporting database workloadsAutomate database provisioning and operations using Terraform and scriptingParticipate in incident, problem, and change management processes Database Administration
Manage and operate Oracle instancesManage and operate Amazon RDS instances (Postgre SQL, My SQL, SQL Server, etc.)Configure and maintain high availability, failover mechanisms, and replicationDesign and validate backup and restore strategiesPerform database performance analysis and query optimizationConduct capacity planning and database upgradesImplement database security controls, including encryption, RBAC, and auditing Platform Collaboration
Support development teams with database migrations and schema changesWork with security teams to ensure database compliance and hardeningProvide guidance on database architecture best practices Skills & Experience
Several years of experience as a Database Administrator or Cloud Database EngineerStrong expertise with relational databases (Oracle, Postgre SQL, My SQL, SQL Server)Hands-on experience with AWS RDS and Amazon AuroraExperience with Terraform and infrastructure automationStrong knowledge of database performance tuning and HA/DR architecturesExperience working in regulated or security-sensitive environments What's great about working with us:
