Craft: Data, Analytics & Strategy
Do you love video games and analytics? Would you like to be part of a multi-cultural team? Your Role: You’ll help us understand, segment, predict, and retain players. You will collaborate with data scientists, product managers, game designers, and developers to drive the analytical side of the game.
Specifically, you’ll:
* Design, monitor, analyze, and communicate results for A/B tests
* Translate business needs into technical and A/B test requirements, working with development teams
* Collaborate with game designers and product teams to design tests for player behavior and game economy
* Develop new analyses, experiments, and data-driven tools
* Ensure correct operations of the game, troubleshooting data issues
* Provide business insights and help prioritize within your game
* Promote data literacy within the team
Required Skills: Passion for quantitative analysis, understanding player behavior, ability to derive business insights, quick learner, collaborative. Proficiency in:
* Product insight: Using data to understand game mechanics and impacts on player behavior
* Data storytelling: Communicating findings clearly
* Technical skills: Data extraction, manipulation, visualization, understanding of statistics (probability, causality, time series). Experience with SQL, cloud services, Python/R is a plus.
Additional helpful experience includes:
* Experience in gaming or digital businesses
* Behavioral psychology/economics/game theory
* Experience with A/B testing, experimentation platforms, CRO
* Software engineering skills
* Reporting tools (Looker, Tableau)
* Cloud big data solutions (Redshift, BigQuery)
