Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as a Sales Technician based in Northern Spain to drive the development of our fertiliser business. The role will ensure customer loyalty while identifying and securing new commercial opportunities, combining field-based agronomic advisory work with proactive commercial management with customers, distributors and strategic partners. The role provides long term development potential for someone eager to demonstrate their skills and experience in the fast-paced soft commodities environment.
ED&F; Man Liquid Products Division is the leading general supplier of molasses, molasses blends and related liquid products, as well as dry products for the animal feed and fermentation industries. We are pioneers and traders in liquid agricultural by- and co-products, offering expertise in animal nutrition and feed dispense technology to farmers.
We work closely with manufacturers such as rum and yeast producers to provide quality products from sustainable sources. Our capabilities include sourcing, shipping, storage and distribution of molasses, molasses blends and other sugar co-products, as well as vegetable and fish oils.

Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and grow the fertiliser business across Northern Spain, while expanding coverage in Northern Portugal.
- Manage and retain an existing portfolio of distributors and key customers, ensuring long-term partnerships and high levels of service.
- Plan and execute regular field visits to maintain close customer contact and identify new opportunities.
- Provide technical agronomic advice, including crop nutrition recommendations, field trials, demonstrations and after-sales support.
