Position SummaryAs a Bell Host, I will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors, providing personalized and seamless service throughout their journey at Aethos Mallorca. My responsibilities include assisting with luggage, guiding guests to their rooms, providing car valet service, and arranging transportation as needed. I will manage arrivals, departures, and special requests, address inquiries, and anticipate guest needs. My role supports the Front Office team, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Logistics & Luggage Management: Provide a warm welcome and memorable farewell, managing all luggage handling with care, ensuring prompt delivery to and from guest rooms.
- Vehicle & Transport Oversight: Assist with valet services, managing vehicles securely and efficiently. This includes arranging transportation (taxis/private transfers) and overseeing private chauffeur arrivals, ensuring luxury vehicle standards.
- Lobby & Guest Guidance: Maintain a highly visible presence in the lobby and entrances to assist guests and visitors, offering directions, and accompanying guests throughout the resort as needed.
- Operational Compliance: Keep all department equipment (trolleys, luggage storage, parking) clean and in good working condition. Complete daily checklists and adhere strictly to all operational standards and financial procedures (especially for Valet Parking transactions).
- Resource and Financial Responsibility: Ensure accurate handling of valet parking cash/card transactions and promptly report any damages incurred during work performance.
Skills and Qualifications- Previous experience in a guest-facing role, ideally within luxury hospitality.
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
- A professional, proactive, and guest-focused attitude.
- A valid driver’s license to manage Valet Parking and ensure careful handling of vehicles.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (e.g., HUBos).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- A solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement.
Additional Requirements- Flexibility in scheduling, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic hotel environment.
- Physical requirements include lifting and carrying luggage, standing and walking for extended periods.
- Dynamic responsibilities may include additional tasks or support as needed.
