Please do not contact the recruiter directly.The oportunity Reporting to the Group Accounting manager and as a part of Global Finance Services located in Barcelona, s/he will be responsible for supporting a company or group of companies for all financial questions.We are seeking a general accountant with Greek to be responsible for supporting and supervising general ledger as well as main financial information. S/he will be the single point of contact for Local Controllers, assisting them to ensure financial criteria are properly followed in the companies under his/her responsibility.Your challenges Monthly closing process & ReportingExecute all accounting activities related to month, quarter and year end closeEnsure all tasks are completed in accordance with the closing procedures and group accounting rulesManage quarterly Inter-Company reconciliationPrepare, verify and submit group reportingBalance Sheet controlEnsure Balance Sheet statement contain reliable and accurate information according with Group and Statutory standards.Liquidity planningMonthly cash forecasting and deviations analysisTaxesResponsible for timely accomplishment of all company tax obligations and tax reportingTax AccountingResponsible for Audit process and Statutory ReportingLead audit process with internal and external auditorsMaintain a second set of accounting books to ensure Statutory Reporting according with accounting local standardsBudgeting & Forecasting processBalance Sheet and Cash budgeting and forecastingSupport local controller on subsidiary planning, budgeting & forecasting processWe would like you to meet you if Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar positionEducation : Bachelor’s degree or Master degree in Accounting.Languages: Spanish, English fluently spoken. Greek fluently spoken.Competencies:Flexible and motivatedAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work in a multicultural environmentAutonomousStrong communication and analytical skillsAdaptable to changesSpecific Knowledge required : Mastering SAP and MS office.
