Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply yourEHS expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.
You'llmanage, perform and ensure the activities related to Health and Safety are applied in the projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management),coordinate the Health and Safety area for Maintenance Services projects and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of providing technical expertise/guidance and support at every step of the project life cycle but alsoproviding technical EHS leadership in Maintenance Services Projects.
We’ll look to you for:
* Perform EHS Risk Assessment and plan preventive activities to define appropriate measures for controlling risks for the assigned projects/depots.
* Prepare, implement and maintain emergency plans.
* Coordinate and control activities with respect of EHS, especially where interfaces are involved with other contractors or operation areas.
* Develop Site EHS Management System
o Develop, deploy and maintain the local procedures and tools and make sure they are aligned with Alstom Standards and international standards (ISO 14001 and ISO45001).
o Maintains EHS files and records.
* EHS Compliance
o Ensure compliance of the site activities according to the EHS Plan, guidelines and work instructions.
o Perform EHS legal compliance checks for specific requirements.
* Develop EHS culture in the site
o Inform, instruct and train employees to carry out the work in safe & environment-friendly mode according to the method of statement.
o EHS visits to Projects and Services depots

Educational Requirements:
* University Engineer or Business Degree
* Health & Safety Qualification recognized by the enforcing authorities in Spain: University MS in Prevention of Occupational Risks (Safety Specialist – Industrial Hygienist – Ergonomics Specialist)
* Degree level Environmental Qualification to Diploma or Degree level (desirable)
Experience
* Professional experience up to 5 years
* Experience of 1 years in Environment, Health & Safety
* Highly recommended experience in industrial or manufacturing sites. Experience in railway environment companies is a plus.
* Good knowledge and understanding of ISO14001, ISO45001 ISO 50001 Internal Auditor is a plus
* Deep knowledge of local legal requirements.
* Experience in railway and/or EHS auditor is a plus
Language:
Spanish and Englist fluent level
