This position combines business development with full-cycle recruitment responsibility, requiring a balance of commercial awareness, relationship building, and execution.You will play a key role in expanding Acquism's presence within your market by developing new client partnerships, strengthening existing relationships, and consistently delivering high-quality talent solutions.Responsibilities Market & Business Development Build a strong understanding of your specialist market, including key companies, hiring trends, and talent pools.Identify and approach potential clients through proactive outreach, networking, and referrals.Develop new business opportunities by engaging directly with hiring managers and decision-makers.Establish long-term partnerships with clients by providing consistent value and insight.Present Acquism's services confidently, positioning the business as a trusted recruitment partner.Negotiate terms of business and ensure agreements align with company objectives.Monitor competitor activity and market developments to identify new opportunities.Candidate Management & Delivery Source and engage relevant candidates using a variety of channels including LinkedIn, referrals, and direct outreach.Conduct thorough candidate assessments to evaluate suitability, motivation, and cultural fit.Manage candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle, from initial contact to placement.Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and maintain momentum throughout the process.Support offer management, including handling negotiations and managing expectations on both sides.Build and maintain a strong network of professionals within your market.Client Engagement Maintain regular communication with clients to understand hiring needs and business priorities.Provide consultative advice on talent availability, salary expectations, and hiring strategies.Ensure a high standard of service delivery and a positive experience for both clients and candidates.Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and increase client engagement.Operations & Best Practice Accurately record all interactions and activity within internal systems.Ensure compliance with internal processes, data protection requirements, and industry standards.Use available tools and platforms effectively to manage pipelines and workflows.Continuously review and refine your approach to improve efficiency and results.Requirements Previous experience in recruitment, sales, or a similar client-facing role.Demonstrated ability to build relationships and generate business opportunities.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Commercial awareness and interest in market dynamics.Ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Self-motivated, proactive, and resilient mindset.Strong organisational and time management skills.Familiarity with CRM systems or recruitment tools is beneficial.Working Model This role operates in a remote-first environment, providing flexibility in day-to-day work.The team comes together on a quarterly basis for in-person meetups focused on collaboration, alignment, and strengthening company culture.These sessions are designed to build relationships, share knowledge, and maintain a strong team dynamic despite remote working.
