We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer, who will have the possibility to conduct service, repair and/or installation of products or IT solutions at customer site, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts. Diagnoses system failures and determines the most cost-effective solution. Escalates complex issues to greater level of technical support or quality reporting system. May develop new customer service/product agreements. Responds to customer support calls within an assigned territory. In addition, he/she will demonstrate the ability to utilize critical thinking and analysis to make decisions, solve problems, and implement solutions. He/she'll be able to communicate and listen honestly and create empathy with the customer, colleagues, and collaborators.
This is a remote role based in Oviedo (North of Spain).
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
* Provide technical customer support, on-site assistance to our customers.
* Escalate complex issues to greater level of technical support.
* Respond to customer support calls within an assigned territory.
The essential requirements of the job include:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferable or a Biotech Technical/Electronic Secondary School Diploma, proficient English is mandatory.
* Open to travel (driving license is mandatory).
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work autonomously, being a team player as well.
