Job description:Position Overview / SummaryField Service Engineer for DR and CR equipment. This position performs technical service and support day‑to‑day business on Agfa and third‑party products and systems to customers. The employee will be based from home and will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of imaging equipment and associated ICT/electrical equipment. The individual must be customer focused at all times, be prepared to work alone and as part of a team, be able to interact well with colleagues, customers and third‑party trades in a professional and tactful manner, and present a positive image of the Company.LocationGalicia – SpainWhat You’ll Do (Responsibilities)Install and modify Agfa and third‑party products (DR and CR)Troubleshoot Agfa and third‑party products, repair and replace on site and remotelyAssist R&D; and HQ in problem solving and risk analysisTrain the customersEscalate when necessary problems to second and third tier supportDocument service incidentsManage and perform preventive/corrective maintenance on Agfa products, reporting according to our proceduresAssist internal and external customers on site and remotely with technical questions and issuesIdentify upselling opportunities for Agfa Services and Products and pass them on to sales as requiredManage return of equipment and parts in a compliant and timely manner to company proceduresWho You Are (Qualifications)EducationUniversity degree in Engineering, Electronics, Biomedical, Mechatronics or related fieldX‑Ray operator license (nice to have)ExperienceLeads mechanical and electrical service of devices with computing software – minimum 3 years of previous experience installing and maintaining medical devices/healthcare products, especially X‑ray/DR systemsExperience with networking and remote diagnosis softwareExperience working safely with electromechanical systemsProject Management skills (nice to have)Specific SkillsLanguages: Spanish (native) and English (B2 or higher); Valencian/Catalan desirableProactivity, flexibility, independence, initiative, open to new challenges, customer‑relationship focus, positive mindset, energy for changeExcellent attention to detail, strong self‑motivation, clear communication, willingness to travel for businessAbility to fault‑find basic electronics to component level and strong analytical skillsGood knowledge of X‑Ray/DR and Windows 7/10Full driving licence – willingness to travel frequently within the country and occasionally to other European countries#J-18808-Ljbffr
