What To Expect
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to help accelerate our vehicle-level testing. The Autopilot Test Specialist is a hands-on position, working closely with Engineers and Technicians to test system performance and identify improvements. This is a full-time role based in Tarragona, Spain, requiring flexibility to travel (up to 40%) to various domestic and international destinations for vehicle testing on public roads and proving grounds.Note:

Safely conduct vehicle-level testing of our ADAS system by analyzing data, triaging software issues, and troubleshooting abnormal vehicle behaviors using Tesla's proprietary software tools.Communicate test results with engineers and provide clarification as needed.Support the design and fabrication of vehicle engineering tools.Assist technicians in vehicle preparation, including installing relevant ADAS test equipment.Maintain and document the test vehicle condition, coordinate repairs and retrofits as necessary.Maintain confidentiality regarding prototype hardware, software, unreleased vehicle programs, and other Tesla internal information.Support other vehicle engineering testing activities as required.What You'll Bring
Excellent driving fundamentals with a clean driving record;
performance driving or limit handling experience is preferred.Comfortable with repetitive vehicle maneuvers.Basic mechanical skills, familiarity with hand tools, and an aptitude for software.Familiarity with ADAS/Autopilot systems and sensors.Basic knowledge of fundamental vehicle systems.Ability to drive engineering vehicles with prototype software/hardware.Advanced skills in safely driving trailers with heavy loads.High attention to detail and situational awareness.Ability to multi-task, organize, and work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent English speaking skills (Essential).
