Senior Gameplay Programmer - Rainbow Six Siege, Barcelona

Job Description:
Join the Rainbow Six Siege project as a Senior Gameplay Programmer, reporting to the Lead Gameplay Programmer. Collaborate with your team and other disciplines to enhance features and prototypes within the project.
What you will do:
1. Design, implement, and maintain gameplay systems with game designers.
2. Identify and define technical solutions for gameplay features based on design documentation.
3. Ensure new features meet quality standards and adhere to the project’s coding style.
4. Write efficient code and participate in code reviews.
5. Analyze and fix bugs identified by team members or testers.
6. Document your work to facilitate knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
1. Excellent C/C++ programming skills and knowledge of object-oriented development.
2. Experience with development environments and tools such as Visual Studio and Perforce.
3. Proven debugging skills for complex bugs.
4. Experience developing gameplay systems for networked games.
5. Good MS Office skills and familiarity with planning tools like Jira and Excel.
6. Ability to write clear, performance-conscious code and documentation.
7. Ability to understand, extend, and refactor unfamiliar code.
8. Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
9. Effective collaboration skills and good command of English.
10. Experience with shipped titles and console development is a plus.
11. Knowledge of C# is advantageous.
