DP World is on the lookout for a dynamic Commercial Training and Event Specialist to join our innovative team, preferably based in The Netherlands, Germany, UK, or Spain. The successful candidate will be responsible for connecting commercial personnel by organizing comprehensive virtual and face-to-face conferences, fostering a collaborative environment for the entire commercial community.
This role involves building and managing our Commercial Academy, with a focus on enhancing sales training through cross-selling techniques, developing robust onboarding training materials, and crafting content that aligns with our end-to-end (E2E) vision. The Commercial Training and Event Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales culture and capabilities.
About the Role
How you will contribute
* Managing and arranging Virtual and Face to Face Commercial Conferences
* Managing and help setup Regional cross selling training roll-out (together with HR)
* Manage and setup-up Commercial On-Boarding and Capabilities explained (together with HR).
* Strategically enhancing the sales capabilities within the company by organizing and managing comprehensive training programs together with HR.
* Leading the creation and execution of virtual and face-to-face conferences to connect the commercial community across the European region.
* Developing and overseeing the Commercial Academy's curriculum, focusing on Sales Training, Onboarding processes, and content that supports the company's End-to-End (E2E) vision.
* Collaborating within the Marketing team to align the sales capability initiatives with broader marketing strategies and objectives.
* Working closely with the HR development team to ensure the training and development activities are in sync with the overall talent development strategy.
* Continuously evaluating the effectiveness of the training and development programs, making data-driven decisions to improve and adapt the initiatives as needed.
* This role requires a proactive approach to project management, and a deep understanding of both the sales process and adult learning principles.
* Plan and execute regional conferences to facilitate knowledge sharing and networking among commercial teams.
* Oversee the development and management of the Commercial Academy's curriculum and training programs.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging content that supports our E2E strategy.
* Monitor and report on the effectiveness of training initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to meet business objectives.
