We are currently looking for a SERVICE ENGINEER to work at our office in EL PUERTO DE SANTA MARIA, Cadiz, Spain. This position reports to the SERVICE MANAGER.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities
* Job preparation:
verify that parts are available and that all requirements are met, including preparation of drawings and procedures prior to attendance.
* Assess technical situations on location, providing service, maintenance, and repairs of lifeboats, davits, and cranes onboard vessels, offshore oil & gas installations, in accordance with company standards.
* Report to the Service Coordinator and the onboard client on activities carried out, and ensure accurate administrative settlement.
* Perform service reports and deliver them to the Service Coordinator.
* Conduct Safe Job Analyses according to procedures and as advised by the Service Coordinator.
* Report progress to the Service Coordinator/Project Managers and the customer.
* Complete required courses related to the position/service missions.
* Participate in periodic coordination meetings as required by the Service Manager.
* Work in accordance with the company's latest Strategy, Quality Manual, HSE policy, and applicable laws and regulations.
* Other tasks as delegated by the supervisor.
Your Qualifications and Qualities
* Broad technical background in mechanics, electrical, hydraulic (drive technology), and control engineering (PLCs and frequency controllers).
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
* Experience in the maritime/offshore industry is preferred.
* Excellent customer service skills, self-motivated, able to work independently.
* Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
* Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical work and work at heights.
* Structured, creative, and capable of multitasking.
