Responsibilities
- Engineer & Own Security Tools
- Build, deploy, and maintain core systems, from IDS and SIEM to WAF, SEG, MDM, and beyond.
- Lead by Example
- Act as a technical leader, guiding and supporting junior engineers while delivering projects end-to-end.
- Partner with teams across the business to embed robust security practices from design to delivery.
- Incident Response & Problem Solving
- Be a key part of the security escalation and on‑call support rotation — owning investigations when it counts.
- Drive Automation & Process Maturity
- Identify opportunities to reduce friction, improve workflows, and bring consistency through automation.
- Maintain technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing across the team.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of hands‑on security engineering experience, ideally in online, enterprise or hybrid environments.
- Deep knowledge of security tech stacks: IDS, vulnerability management, IAM, SIEM, WAF, SEG, MDM.
- Experience with hybrid/on‑prem environments and applying security controls pragmatically based on risk.
- Hands‑on scripting/coding skills — enough to automate configurations and routine ops.
- Familiarity with standards like NIST, CIS, and experience designing secure architectures.
- AppSec or DLP exposure
- Experience with SOAR platforms
- Security certifications (e.g. CISSP‑ISSEP, CCSP)
